Last year I tried to 3D Print a VT100 clone and got fed up with it. The parts were coming out in different sizes and it was just tearing me up inside.
This time I am printing the Callisto 2 case and I scored a 8″ 4:3 LCD for next to nothing on eBay. I got a 64 key keyboard around here somewhere I can use.
I’m gonna keep it simple and use a Pi Zero W and a RS232 adapter. Might break out the VGA, RCA and BNC for the LCD so if I wanted I could still use the monitor portion for other things. I got a small 12 volt Meanwell power supply that should fit and use a Buck converter for the Pi Zero.
The whole project came up because I saw the LCD for dirt cheap and thought it would be fun.
