So randomly breakers trip. The breaker panel has AFCI breakers. The odd thing is it trips two to three breakers at once.
For a example I was running my 3D Printer all day two days ago and everything was fine. Out of no where the breaker tripped. I learned the circuit also goes to the Fridge. I know I tapped into the Dining room circuit but the electricians also have the Fridge circuit on that. Kinda stupid if you ask me. Anyway, After it tripped I reset it and waited an hour and then went back to running the printer. About 45 minutes later it tripped again. I went out to the Garage to turn it back on and when I flipped the Garage light on that breaker tripped. Looking at the panel it tripped the Fridge/Dining room, Garage and the upstairs bedrooms.
One of two things I can think of is the panel is off balanced like hell or there is a shared neutral somewhere. It’s just not the 3D Printer other breakers trip like the bathroom GFCI and the master bedroom, outside GFCI, upstairs loft.
A electrician has been out here twice and all he did was swap out breakers saying the breakers were “old”. The middle step son is a electrician and he said that’s BS and they were probably dropped. However it’s still happening. The last two times I had left detailed instructions of the issues and even talked to them over the phone but this third time I’m going to take the day off I sent an email to the builder to relay to the electrical company to expect most of the day here. The electrician and myself are going to go through the whole house. There has to be a massive fault somewhere that is shorting out or a shared neutral.
